I was wondering if you may be able to help me. I have a 93 mr2 turbo, produced 2/93. It will not get any spark. I have put a new coil, new igniter, and checked all fuses/relays. I also put in a distributor from a 92 JDM turbo. Still no spark. The mechanic said all thats really left is the ECU. Any suggestions, or is there a way to check the ECU?

Just FYI everyone, if you post a message here for me I'm not likely to see it for a long period of time. Message me directly if you are expecting a response.

Hi, I saw a reference in your post re: Gen3 part numbers, to a MAP sensor p/n 89420-20310. I came into possession of one of these while trying to obtain a Gen3 MAP p/n 89420-17050.
Can you tell me what this MAP is off. I was told a ST205 Celica and is in fact a 2.5Bar Gen3 MAP, but I'm not so sure about this.
    Thanks
    James.

    Brian,

I've been downloading the music you post up on the forum and you rock! Do you do it professionally or is it just a hobby? Either way I REALLY like your mixes. Where can I acquire more of them?

The gauge cluster in my MR2 is a product offered by Stack, Inc. in the UK. [Link]. It is sometimes referred to as the SARD Stack in the JDM community, but such is not the case. SARD simply resold the Stack product. This cluster is quite common in Japan. I initially learned of the Stack product during my motorcycle racing days back in 1997-8. Stack offers a variety of race display products for motorcycles as well as cars. The specific models that I have in the MR2 are the ST-8110SR...

I put up a new Breakbeat mix set tonight. Decent overall but I really jacked the mix between DJ Fixx - Go Down and Top Shelf - Take My Lead. There are a few other places I'm not happy with as well but I don't have a good monitor setup at home. This was mixed entirely via headphones with no monitor at all.

Here's the tracklist:

01: J-Break - Twitch (DNF Mix)
02: Deekline & Wizard - Make Your Girl Feel The Bass (Original Mix)
03: Chris B - System...

Let me preface this article by saying the pricing guides such as Kelly Blue Book or NADA are grossly inaccurate when it comes to assessing value for MR2s in general, and especially for the 94 and 95 models. Since I am so fanatical about the 94+ MR2s, I typically get asked what they are worth by sellers and prospective buyers. Out of the 19 MR2s that I've owned, 7 of them were 94 or 95. Generally speaking, there are several factors that will affect the price:
